About UNRAVEL

Relationships are complicated, but most of the advice about them is surprisingly simple.

When people look for clarity, they’re often given lists of red flags, boundaries, or reasons their partner is a narcissist. Advice like that can sound logical while you’re reading it, but it rarely clears up the confusion people feel inside an actual relationship.

Because nothing is really being explained.

UNRAVEL takes a different approach.

Instead of telling you how to navigate relationships, it explains the psychology that drives them — the mechanisms behind how people think, feel, and behave in relationship dynamics, and how individual factors like personality, history, context, and values shape those patterns.

And it’s written in clear language that anyone can understand.

UNRAVEL has three parts: education, digital tools, and products. The education side includes dozens of explainers that break down psychological foundations and frameworks, along with narrative Journeys that walk through common relationship patterns and behaviors using realistic scenarios to show how these dynamics play out in real life.

Digital tools help people apply that understanding to their own lives, turning concepts like reality testing, pattern recognition, and self-reflection into something they can actually use when they need it.

Products take that same approach offline. UNRAVEL develops practical tools that use psychology and neurobiology to help with things like emotional regulation, rumination, and understanding human behavior.

You can follow along with new ideas, updates, and social commentary through UNRAVEL Unfiltered, where I take a more candid, contrarian look at relationships, psychology, social norms, and the cultural narratives we rarely stop to question.

At its core, UNRAVEL exists to make relationship dynamics easier to see and easier to understand — so the patterns that once felt confusing start to make sense.

That clarity doesn’t give you a single “right” answer. But it does give you a far better understanding of what you’re actually looking at.

Why UNRAVEL Matters

Understanding yourself and your relationships requires more than knowing what’s healthy or unhealthy. You need to understand why things happen, why they affect you the way they do, and what you can actually do with that information. UNRAVEL is built around three things that help turn understanding into something useful: Educate. Validate. Empower.

Educate – Understanding what happened isn't enough if you don't understand why. UNRAVEL explains the psychology and neurobiology behind what we think, feel, and do so confusing and counterintuitive behavior starts to make sense.

Validate – Your experience can make sense without every thought, feeling, or interpretation being accurate. Understanding why you feel the way you do replaces judgment and shame with context, while still leaving room to question what your brain is telling you.

Empower – Understanding why something happens gives you a better chance of changing what happens next. Education, skills, and practical tools help turn insight into choices you can actually make and actions you can actually take.

UNRAVEL exists to make the complex simple, the heavy manageable, and the science tangible, so you can better understand yourself, other people, and the relationships between you.
